Every few years, I revisit and revamp this site—this time, I'm aiming for a design that feels more timeless and versatile. It's a bit like the classic 'mechanic with the beat-up car' scenario, but I'm committed to practicing what I preach and giving my site the attention it deserves.
I was born and lived in Minnesota for most of my life. I am a family man with an amazing wife and three of the most amazing children.
The harsh winters of Minnesota often reach -40 degrees (Fahrenheit or Celsius - they happen to converge at this point). These conditions would trigger a health condition I have, as such, my family and I recently relocated to Northwestern Arizona, right in the Mojave Desert. The stark contrast between the two landscapes has been a source of inspiration and exploration for me.
It is an understatement to say that I have fallen in love with exploring this unique landscape. The desert, abandoned towns, and trail rides through mountains and canyons are truly breathtaking. I find it motivational and inspiring to be surrounded by such natural beauty. My writing, composing, and other artistic outlets have been invigorated by the change of scenery.
